We booked the Royal Suite on the second deck for our wedding anniversary and it was massive the 30m² layout felt so luxurious and private. The king bed was incredibly comfortable and the panoramic ocean views from the grand balcony were unmatched. Day 2 on the smaller day boat was fantastic; the weather was perfect so we got to swim at the pristine Ba Trai Dao beaches in Lan Ha Bay and did some amazing kayaking through Trinh Nu Cave. The traditional Vietnamese fusion food served onboard the main ship was outstanding, especially the seafood sets. Massive thanks to Robert the tour operator from Halong Bay Cruises! He handled our booking so professionally and smoothly rescheduled our private transfer when our flight into Hanoi was delayed. The only minor downside was that Me Cung cave on Day 2 required a bit of steep climbing, which was tough on my bad knees, but the view was worth it.
Very well-organized boutique cruise. The ship felt incredibly peaceful and uncrowded because of the limited 40-passenger capacity, which is exactly what we wanted. The cabin layout is very smart, with fine cotton bedding and high-quality amenities. Hiking up to the peak of Titov Island early in the morning was challenging but offered a spectacular, postcard-perfect panoramic view of Halong Bay. Waking up early to join the Tai Chi session on the open sundeck while gathering "vitamin sea" was an unforgettable, spiritual experience. Exceptional value for a luxury tour. The traditional Vietnamese and international fusion lunch served right after embarkation was delicious, beautifully presented, and highly sophisticated. We visited the massive Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave) which was visually stunning, but make sure u wear proper hiking shoes cuz the steps inside can get quite wet and slippery as noted in the itinerary. The evening happy hour at the bar (buy 2 get 1 free) on the upper deck was a great touch, allowing everyone to socialize while watching a gorgeous pink sunset. Robert from the agency was super helpful with all our pre-trip questions regarding visas and packing tips. Excellent service overall.
Amazing cruise! From the welcome drink at noon to the final buffet brunch on Day 2, everything was top-notch and smoothly executed. The boat has a wonderful boutique, high-end feel, and the cabins are gorgeously designed with private walk-out balconies. Big shoutout to Robert for organizing our private luxury transfer and making sure everything went perfectly from the moment we left Hanoi until we got back. His communication via WhatsApp was instant and incredibly reassuring. 10/10 customer service.
Nice rooms and very comfy beds. Luon cave is beautiful but honestly too crowded with other tour boats at 2:30 PM, though the kayking option was still fun cuz we got to see some wild monkeys on the rocks. The luxury bus from Hanoi arrived late to our hotel due to a massive traffic jam in the morning so we had to wait in the lobby, which was a bit annoying but we understand it's out of their control. Food was ok, plenty of options. Overall a decent trip if you want to see the main highlights of the bay.
Best decision we made for our Vietnam holiday. Lan Ha Bay is absolutely pristine, and swimming in the emerald waters at Ba Trai Dao beach on Day 2 was pure paradise. The day boat crew took fantastic care of us, serving a wonderful fresh lunch while we cruised past the old Pearl farm and Frog's stone. Coming back to the main vessel for a sunset party with fresh fruits and snacks made each afternoon feel incredibly special. A perfect holiday! Milalux Cruise is so beautiful, elegant, and full of traditional charm. Visiting Me Cung Cave on the second day was spectacular and felt like a hidden paradise, far less crowded than the main tourist routes. We spent our evenings relaxing in the outdoor Jacuzzi pool under the stars and trying night squid fishing w/ the lovely crew members who were so patient in teaching us the technique. Thank you Halong Bay Cruises for recommending this boutique alternative instead of the larger ships, we loved every single minute of our 3-day journey!

AustraliaAbsolutely incredible experience from start to finish! We booked through Halong Bay Cruises and they did a fantastic job coordinating everything. Our Junior Suite on the 1st floor was immaculate w/ a wonderful private balcony. It was so peaceful sitting out there with a morning coffee watching the limestone karsts float by. The kayaking excursion around Luon Cave was a massive highlight - we got so close to the water and the scenery was breathtaking. Back on board, the cooking class at sunset on the sundeck was brilliant and super interactive. The crew went above and beyond to look after everyone, making sure my daughter's dietary restrictions were fully catered to during every single meal. Would definitely recommend this boutique gem to anyone who hates massive overcrowded mega-ships!
