I really liked how this tour combined spectacular landscapes with historical attractions. Crossing Hai Van Pass was an experience on its own, and visiting Khai Dinh Tomb and the Imperial Citadel helped me understand Vietnam's imperial history much better. The small group made everything feel relaxed and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable. I'd happily recommend this tour to anyone staying in Hoi An or Da Nang.
We were debating whether to rent a car ourselves or book a guided tour. Looking back... soooo glad we picked this one . Everything was organized perfectly, we didn't have to worry about driving the Hai Van Pass, and our guide explained so much history that we would've completely missed on our own. One of the absolute highlights of our two weeks in Vietnam! The boat ride through Trang An was jaw-dropping — my kids were completely spellbound by the cave tunnels. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and made us feel like locals, not tourists. The buffet lunch was also surprisingly good — the goat meat is a must-try! Would recommend this Ninh Binh day trip to every single person heading to Hanoi.
I knew the Golden Bridge would be impressive from the photos, but seeing it in person was something else. The cable car ride was absolutely breathtaking and the mountain views just kept getting better. We had plenty of time to explore instead of rushing from place to place. I'm a solo traveller and was a little nervous joining a group tour, but this was perfect. The group was small and friendly, the pace was relaxed, and our guide David knew everything about Vietnamese history — his storytelling at Hoa Lu gave me goosebumps. Trang An is something truly special. Genuinely one of the best day trips I've taken in all of Southeast Asia.
