One of the absolute highlights of our two weeks in Vietnam! The boat ride through Trang An was jaw-dropping — my kids were completely spellbound by the cave tunnels. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and made us feel like locals, not tourists. The buffet lunch was also surprisingly good — the goat meat is a must-try! Would recommend this Ninh Binh day trip to every single person heading to Hanoi.

I'm a solo traveller and was a little nervous joining a group tour, but this was perfect. The group was small and friendly, the pace was relaxed, and our guide David knew everything about Vietnamese history — his storytelling at Hoa Lu gave me goosebumps. Trang An is something truly special. Genuinely one of the best day trips I've taken in all of Southeast Asia.

We booked this as a couple looking for something beyond the typical tourist experience in Hanoi. The cycling through the village was a wonderful surprise — peaceful, green, and completely authentic. Trang An lived up to every photo we'd seen online. The whole day was incredibly well-organised from pick-up to drop-off. We will definitely book with this company again.

This was our second visit to Ninh Binh and it was even better than the first, thanks to the quality of the guide. He answered every question our 8-year-old could throw at him — and believe me, that's a lot! My daughter still talks about 'the cave boat' months later. The limousine bus was comfortable and punctual both ways. A flawlessly run day tour.

One of the most memorable days of our entire Southeast Asia trip. Tam Coc is genuinely breathtaking — the photos don't do it justice. Our guide was brilliant: funny, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Vietnamese history. The Mua Cave climb was tough but absolutely worth every step. My teenage sons, who are usually glued to their phones, were completely captivated all day. Ninh Binh needs to be on every itinerary.
