I joined the sunset trip with my coworkers after a busy week, and it was a really nice break. We liked the welcome music because it made the evening feel lively right away. The canapés were small but cute, good for chatting before dinner. The buffet had enough choices for everyone in our group, even the picky ones. Later, the DJ music on the deck made the whole group loosen up and laugh a lot.
I booked Sea Octopus Cruise for my parents because they don’t like trips that are too hard or messy. The staff explained things clearly, so they felt comfortable from the start. My dad enjoyed the view from the boat more than walking around too much. My mom liked Sung Sot Cave because it looked bright and special inside. The afternoon tea on the way back was perfect for them, simple, quiet, and not rushed.
I traveled alone and mainly wanted to take photos of Halong Bay. This tour gave me many good spots, from the deck, inside Sung Sot Cave, and on Titop Island. The hike up Titop was a bit sweaty, but the view at the top was crazy good. I also liked that I could skip some activities and just chill on the boat when I wanted. For a solo traveler, it felt safe, easy, and not awkward at all.
I went with my husband and two kids, and the day worked better than I expected. The children loved Sung Sot Cave because they kept seeing funny shapes in the rocks. Lunch was a big help because there were many dishes, so nobody had to eat something they didn’t like. We skipped the hike and let the kids swim for a little while at Titop Island. They were tired on the way back, but in the best way.
My wife and I chose Sea Octopus Cruise for our anniversary, and the sunset made it feel really special. We stood outside when the sky turned orange, and it was honestly a beautiful moment. The dinner place looked nice but still felt comfortable, not too formal. We enjoyed the seafood and the soft live music during the meal. The best memory was seeing the city lights from the water before the cruise came back.
I went with my best friend, and we spent most of the trip laughing at each other. We tried kayaking at Luon Cave, and at first we were so bad at it. After a few minutes, we got better and started enjoying the quiet water and huge cliffs around us. Sung Sot Cave was nice, but our favorite part was swimming at Titop Island after getting hot. It felt like a simple, happy day with good food and silly memories.
I took my dad on the sunset tour because he likes music and sea views. He really enjoyed the guitar and violin, especially while the cruise was moving slowly across the bay. We didn’t join the party much, but we stayed in a quieter spot and talked after dinner. The food was good, and the seafood felt fresh enough for a nice evening meal. It was not a wild night for us, more like a peaceful father and son time.
My brother and I joined Sea Octopus Cruise and made the day feel like a small challenge. We climbed to the Titop viewpoint and joked about who would reach the top first. The view was worth every step, with the whole bay looking wide and blue below us. At lunch, we ate way too much because the buffet had many choices. The cruise back felt slow and calm, which was perfect after all that walking.
My husband and I came here during our honeymoon, and the evening had a sweet vibe from the start. The sunset was soft and pretty, and we took many photos before dinner. I liked the small snacks and welcome drink because they made the trip feel special right away. Dinner was good, but what I remember most is the music and the view outside. We danced a little on the sundeck later, nothing fancy, just a happy honeymoon moment.

Daniel Miller,
United StatesI went with my girlfriend and we wanted something calm, not too packed with activities. The best part for us was sitting outside when the cruise left the port and just watching the bay slowly appear. We chose the bamboo boat at Luon Cave because it felt more relaxing than kayaking. The water was still, the cliffs were close, and it felt like a small hidden place. After lunch, we didn’t rush around much, just enjoyed Titop Island and took a few sweet photos together.
