We booked the 3D2N tour mainly for the Lan Ha Bay day and yeah, that’s the winner. The day boat felt more personal and less busy than the main route. Swimming at Ba Trai Dao was super refreshing. Back on Du Yen Cruise, sunset drinks + cooking class was a fun combo. Great balance of chill + activity.
Picked the 2D1N Halong Bay tour because we didn’t want a long trip. Sung Sot Cave and Titop Island were the big highlights for us. The tea workshop was surprisingly relaxing after all the walking. Cabin was clean, AC worked well, and I slept like a rock. Du Yen Cruise felt new and well-managed.
Tai Chi at 6AM on the sundeck was weirdly the best moment of the trip. Quiet air, soft light, just very peaceful. This schedule was packed but not exhausting. The traditional costume photo session was fun, not cringe like I feared. Du Yen Cruise had calm vibes all the way.
3D2N was the right call if you want real time on the water. Kayaking near Trinh Nu Cave was awesome and beginner-friendly. Pearl farm stop was quick but honestly interesting. Happy Hour “buy 2 get 1” got us good. Du Yen Cruise kept the plan organized without feeling strict.
Did the 2D1N tour and liked how it felt comfortable but not overly “luxury show-off.” The Tea Harmony + Art of Tea workshop was chill and easy to follow. Meals were steady and came out fast, no waiting forever. Deck views in late afternoon were insane. Du Yen Cruise felt friendly and relaxed.
Went for the Halong Bay tour and Titop Island stairs absolutely humbled me. View at the top was worth it though. Sung Sot Cave was busy but still impressive inside. Brunch on the way back was a nice finish, didn’t feel rushed. Du Yen Cruise ran on time, big plus.
We chose the 3D2N tour because we wanted more downtime + Lan Ha Bay. Swimming at Ba Trai Dao was my favorite part, super calm water. Cooking class was light and fun, not too serious. Dinner felt cozy and service was attentive. Du Yen Cruise is great if you want a relaxed trip.

3 days 2 nights gave us enough time to actually enjoy being on the boat. Morning Vovinam was a nice wake-up, not too intense. Lan Ha Bay day was quieter and prettier than I expected. Lunch on the day boat was decent and the crew were kind. Du Yen Cruise felt modern and calm.
Did this tour and I loved the brunch while cruising back. Cabin was clean and surprisingly quiet at night. Sung Sot Cave was impressive even with the crowds. Costume photo session was fun with friends, not forced. Du Yen Cruise was well-organized and easy.
The 3-day 2-night tour had a good rhythm: activity, chill time, repeat. Happy Hour buy 2 get 1… we absolutely abused that deal. Lan Ha Bay swimming was a highlight, super relaxing. Squid fishing was goofy but fun, even with zero catch. The Du Yen Cruise vibe was friendly, not stiff.
Booked the 3D2N Halong Bay tour and Lan Ha Bay day made it worth it. Swimming at Ba Trai Dao felt like a mini beach day. Kayaking stops were scenic and not too hard. Evenings were chill, cocktails, deck time, then a nice dinner. Du Yen Cruise felt balanced and not rushed.
Du Yen Cruise felt newer and cleaner than some other boats nearby. Did the 2D1N tour and everything was clear and on schedule. Staff were helpful without pushing extra stuff. Food was consistent and came out hot. Solid Halong Bay tour choice if you want simple + comfy.
We chose 3D2N because we wanted more time away from the cities. Sunrise on the deck was super calm and honestly addictive. Lan Ha Bay day was the best, swimming, kayaking, chill lunch. The traditional costume photos were fun and totally optional. Du Yen Cruise was a proper reset.

United StatesDid the 2D1N tour on Du Yen Cruise and it was smooth from start to finish. Sung Sot Cave was crowded, but still a must-see. Kayaking at Luon Cave was the calmest part of the whole Halong Bay tour. Food wasn’t fancy, but it was fresh and on time. Overall: easy trip, no stress.
