Took my mom along for her birthday; she even tried squid fishing and giggled like a kid. The cooking class was fun too. Turns out she’s better than me at rolling spring rolls. Halong Bay is now on her fave list.
After lunch, I dozed off on the sundeck while cruising past the limestone cliffs. That sea breeze is no joke, knocked me out in the best way. Woke up to fresh fruit and wine at sunset. Halong Bay, you know how to relax a guy.
The spring roll class was such a cute touch. I even made extras to snack on later. Watching the sun dip behind the cliffs with a glass of wine was the perfect way to end the day. Lan Ha Bay took my breath away.
Been burnt out from work and needed something calm, and this cruise hit the mark. No loud groups, no stress, just calm water and good food. Lan Ha Bay felt untouched. I could’ve floated there for hours.

I’m not a morning person but sunrise on the bay was magic. Tea in hand, ocean views, no noise, just stillness. The light breakfast was just right, and the bamboo boat ride after that felt like a peaceful dream.

I kept snapping pics thinking “this is unreal.” The cliffs, the mist, the quiet, it was better than anything I’d seen online. Halong Bay doesn’t disappoint. Bonus: the Wi-Fi was good enough to brag about it in real time.
The trip to Viet Hai Village was surprisingly touching. Locals smiled at us as we biked past, and seeing their homes made me think about how simply people can live. Van Boi Beach after that was the cherry on top.
I did the 3-day tour and still wasn’t ready to leave. Each day brought something new, from kayaking to spring rolls to swimming off the boat. And Lan Ha Bay? Just wow. I wish I had booked a week.
I didn’t expect the meals to be this good. From lunch to dinner to breakfast, everything was flavorful and fresh. Honestly, better than most restaurants I’ve tried on land. Props to the chef!
Solo traveled and had the best time. I read, journaled, kayaked alone, and made some new friends over wine. The cruise staff were kind but gave space, which I appreciated. Sometimes you just need that reset.
Yup, I proposed on the deck at sunset and she said yes. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot than Halong Bay. The staff helped me set it up with flowers and wine. Big thanks to La Pandora Boutique Cruise for the perfect setting.
