Kayaking around the cave and cliffs was exactly what I came for. The silence, the gentle paddling, cleared my head. Meals were balanced and filling, and the crew was well-trained. Verdure Lotus Luxury was a mental reset.
I came solo and felt welcome. Staff always checked in without being pushy, and I made a few friends over drinks at Happy Hour. The cooking with locals class gave me a new respect for Vietnamese food culture.
This time was just my girlfriend and me, but we’re already thinking of bringing the whole family. The layout of the boat is spacious and well-maintained. Swimming off the side of the day boat at Ba Trai Dao was a surprise favorite.
Vietnam has been fast-paced, but these 3 days were a full pause. I didn’t touch my phone much, just soaked in the views. Waking up early for Tai Chi, hearing nothing but water around me… it’s a feeling I’ll keep with me.
This was our final stop in Vietnam, and Verdure Lotus Luxury wrapped it up beautifully. Private time on the balcony, peaceful kayaking, and candle-lit dinners by the bay. We both felt looked after without it ever feeling too formal. Merci!
