Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Tour

I wasn’t sure about doing Cu Chi and Mekong in one day, but it actually worked well. Cu Chi was interesting, especially trying the tunnel and seeing how small it really is. The afternoon at Mekong felt completely different, much slower and more relaxed. The tuk tuk ride was fun, and the boat ride was a great way to finish the day. Long day, but definitely worth it.

Cu Chi was good, simple and easy to follow. I didn’t spend much time inside the tunnels, but even a short try was enough to understand the conditions. The Mekong part was the surprise for me. I thought it might feel too touristy, but it was actually quite relaxed. The tuk-tuk ride was a bit chaotic, but in a fun way. The boat ride through the canals was my favorite part because everything became quiet. A long day, but I enjoyed it more than I expected.

What I liked about this tour was that the two parts felt completely different. Cu Chi was more about history, with the guide explaining things clearly and giving enough time to look around. I tried the tunnel for a short time, and that alone showed how challenging it must have been.

The afternoon at Mekong was much slower, with greener views and a more relaxed atmosphere. The tuk tuk ride through the villages was fun, and the boat ride was a nice way to finish. Good choice if you want to see two different sides of southern Vietnam in one day.

I was worried it might feel like we were rushing between two places, but it actually worked pretty well. Cu Chi was interesting and the tunnel experience definitely gives you a different perspective.

After that, the Mekong was a complete change. The tuk tuk ride was probably the most fun part because everyone was just laughing along the way. The boat ride was the quietest part of the day, which was a nice finish. It is a full day, but it doesn’t feel too tiring.
