I really liked how this tour combined spectacular landscapes with historical attractions. Crossing Hai Van Pass was an experience on its own, and visiting Khai Dinh Tomb and the Imperial Citadel helped me understand Vietnam's imperial history much better. The small group made everything feel relaxed and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable. I'd happily recommend this tour to anyone staying in Hoi An or Da Nang.
Getting up early wasn't exactly fun but omg... this trip was sooo worth it. The scenery along the drive was incredible and every stop offered something completely different. I loved the peaceful atmosphere at Thien Mu Pagoda and the architecture at Khai Dinh Tomb was unlike anything I'd seen before. Lunch was excellent too. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better day.
Ngl... I booked this after seeing sooo many reels of Hai Van Pass. Turns out the real thing is even better. Every stop had amazing scenery and Hue itself was full of history and beautiful architecture. The Imperial Citadel was massive, and Thien Mu Pagoda overlooking the river was sooo peaceful. Big shoutout to Robert at Halong Bay Cruises for answering all my questions before I booked.
This was easily one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. We visited several historical sites but never felt rushed. The guide shared loads of interesting stories about the Nguyen Dynasty without making it feel like a history class. Hai Van Pass was absolutely stunning and Lap An Lagoon was much prettier than I expected. If you've got one free day in Hoi An, this is 100% worth doing.
If you're staying in Hoi An, just book this... seriously. The drive over Hai Van Pass alone was worth it. We stopped for photos, the weather was perfect and the views were unreal. Hue was beautiful, especially the Imperial Citadel and Khai Dinh Tomb. Lunch was delicious and the herbal foot bath after was such a nice surprise lol. Huge thanks to Robert from Halong Bay Cruises for recommending this tour instead of trying to squeeze Hue into our own itinerary. Best decision!

Michael Evans,
United StatesWe were debating whether to rent a car ourselves or book a guided tour. Looking back... soooo glad we picked this one . Everything was organized perfectly, we didn't have to worry about driving the Hai Van Pass, and our guide explained so much history that we would've completely missed on our own. Thanks again to Robert from Halong Bay Cruises for suggesting this itinerary. It ended up being one of our favorite experiences in Central Vietnam.
